Transformative DevOps Engineer

We are a pioneering tech transformation company, CI&T, seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence and human expertise to drive innovation and growth for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cluster Management: Optimize and maintain our AWS EC2 and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Incident Response: Lead the troubleshooting of production outages, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Collaboration: Engage with development teams to address questions, provide support, and share best practices for deployment and operations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with Directors and other stakeholders, providing updates on cluster status, incidents, and ongoing improvements.
  • Automation: Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles with a strong focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
  • Recommended Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, LoadBalancers, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations.
    • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
    • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
    • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch or NewRelic).
    • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
    • Experience with Helm charts (public and customized ones).
