We are seeking a qualified Vessel Electrical Operations Manager for our fleet in Brazil. The successful candidate will oversee the safe and reliable operation of onboard electrical/electronic equipment in compliance with instructions from the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations, maintenance, and repair of the vessel and technical facilities in accordance with the Chief Engineer's instructions and relevant legislation.
- Awareness, compliance, and implementation of company policies regarding health and safety, environment, quality, protection, and consumption.
- Knowledge about responsibilities and obligations as required by the Safety Management System procedures.
- Coordinating and controlling activities to maximize safety, quality, and environmental protection.
- Reporting defects, non-conformities, and other issues that may affect safe operations or pose health and safety risks, quality of work, or operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Relevant technical courses for the role.
- English proficiency is an advantage.
- Background in electronics is an advantage.
