About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Downstream Market Analyst to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing price forecast visualization tools, computing and issuing transfer prices, and coordinating with stakeholders to validate price implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Price Forecast Visualization: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve fit-for-purpose price forecast visualization tools to support business decision-making.
  • Transfer Price Coordination: Gather data from forward curves of all crude and products, market premium or discount values, costs of freight, and other elements of Transfer Prices to compute transfer prices daily.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with Pricing Insights and Market Analysis team and AEs to gather information on global events affecting energy/oil & gas market and market trends.
  • Price Forecasting: Issue price forecast weekly to the AEs to ensure timely identification of opportunities, estimate uplift margins, and serve as a basis for negotiations among stakeholders.
  • Transfer Price Validation: Coordinate with AEs & market insights for review and validation of prices to be issued.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related specialty.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in oil & gas downstream business, including several years in data analytics, market research, corporate planning, and business development.
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of model development and utilization of Excel functions, decent understanding of downstream business and supply chain.
