About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced As400 Developer with expertise in PKMS (Pick, Pack, and Ship) system to join our team at Everest Technologies, Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing As400 applications using RPG/RPGLE and CL/CLLE programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop As400 applications using RPG/RPGLE and CL/CLLE programming languages.
  • Develop and optimize SQL within RPG code using SQLRPGLE.
  • Work with subfile processing and printer file programming.
  • Schedule and monitor jobs on IBM i systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of As400 applications with other systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in coding, debugging, and optimizing with RPG/RPGLE and CL/CLLE.
  • Good understanding of ILE concepts and their practical use.
  • Experience in writing and optimizing SQL within RPG code.
  • Hands-on experience with subfile processing and printer file programming.
  • Ability to schedule and monitor jobs on IBM i systems.
  • Basic knowledge of DB2 and SQL for database management on IBM i.
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) applications.
  • Knowledge of making API calls to external systems.
  • Familiarity with working with JSON data structures.
  • Experience with using Qshell commands on IBM i.
  • In-depth experience with Manhattan PKMS (Pick, Pack, and Ship) system.
