About this Role:

We seek an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Director to lead and transform the EHS agenda across multiple countries and business units in three key industries: agribusiness, human nutrition, and animal nutrition.

This role will be responsible for defining the EHS strategy roadmap, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, promoting a robust culture of safety, health, innovation, and sustainability, and driving digital transformation in EHS systems and performance management.

We need a forward-thinking, data-driven, and people-oriented leader who can manage complexity, inspire change, and integrate EHS into business strategy.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Postgraduate or MBA preferred.
  • Leadership experience in EHS roles within complex, multinational environments.
  • Expertise in Latin American regulations and international EHS standards (OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ESG frameworks).
  • Proven ability to lead innovation, digital transformation, and change management in EHS.
  • Solid background in high-risk industries such as agribusiness, food, chemical, or manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Frequent travel and relocation to São Paulo/SP or Uberlândia/MG may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement EHS strategies that align with the company's goals.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  3. Build and maintain a strong EHS culture within the organization.
  4. Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve EHS systems and performance management.
  5. Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure they meet EHS standards.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth while maintaining EHS excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
