Advolve is building the world's first fully autonomous digital ads framework. We offer a platform that automates and optimizes the entire ad process from creative development to audience targeting, bidding, attribution analysis, and retargeting.


The position


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-caliber machine learning engineering team that is growing quickly. You will design, develop and deploy ML models including Large Language Models that power our digital ads platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and implement robust and scalable ML solutions.

It's a fully remote (of course), full-time position for candidates in Latin America who can work in Brazilian office hours.


Responsibilities

  • Work on fast-paced, collaborative, agile teams to build and enhance a growing AI platform together.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models for marketing applications
  • Collaborate with ML engineers, software engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end machine learning solutions.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure for ML model training and deployment.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, and incorporate best practices into our solutions.
  • Actively support the technical design process, bringing your expertise and analysis to help make data-driven decisions.


Your background & requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 full years of experience in machine learning and data science.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience working on Data Science/ML Engineering teams, building and deploying AI applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with common software development practices such as version control, unit testing, integration testing and CI/CD.
  • Team player, interested in working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You can start as soon as possible, ideally immediately.


Nice to have

  • Experience in the marketing or advertising industry.
  • Experience in MLOps frameworks (e.g. Kubeflow, Vertex AI, MLflow)
  • Familiarity with large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT) and their applications.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimental design.
  • Be collaborative and critical when reviewing other contributors' code.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Experience with FastAPI or Temporal.io.
