Where you Fit In:
As a Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented developers, overseeing the development and maintenance of our Java-based gaming platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. Your role will involve a combination of hands-on development, technical leadership, and strategic planning.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our Java-based gaming platform.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and security.
- Review and approve code changes, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers and product owners to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Create and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Monitor progress and address any issues or roadblocks proactively.
- Collaborate with architects to drive architectural decisions for the platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the development process.
- Ensure the system design aligns with business goals and technical requirements.
- Work closely with your team and other cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality products.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical challenges.
- Advocate for technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Participate in coding activities, especially for complex or critical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Ensure the team adheres to coding standards and follows established processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Team Lead in a similar role.
- Advanced English level.
- Extensive experience with Java and related technologies
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Experience with iGaming platforms or related industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Java MVC frameworks (J2EE, Spring Boot, Micronaut)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of database management (SQL, NoSQL).
