About the role:
Our facilities across Victoria seek enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistants to join their growing teams - where you work is up to you
Supporting our Lifestyle Coordinator, the Lifestyle Assistant will help with the delivery of appropriate and varied lifestyle programs to enhance and support the individual needs of residents.
As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will promote and assist our residents participate in meaningful activities whilst maintaining friendly and supportive professional relationships.
You will be making a profound difference in the lives our residents, enabling them to live their BEST life.
You will be responsible for:

- Participating in the development and delivery of lifestyle programs to our residents, ensuring residents are able to participate and enjoy the programs
- Assist with assessments, review and the ongoing evaluation of residents cultural, recreational and leisure needs and lifestyle interests
- provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends

About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents and clients, to support them to live life to their potential.
This is the place for you if you:

- Hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or currently undertaking studies towards same
- Ability to drive a 12 seater bus (desirable)
- Have experience and knowledge in residential aged care with a commitment to high standards of care for residents and their families
- Are known for your caring and compassionate nature
- Experience as a Personal Care Worker in Aged Care highly regarded
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
- Committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
- A current Working With Children's Check
- Have Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance

Essentials to work in Aged Care
- A current Working With Children's Check (VIC) or willingness to obtain one
- Full Australian working rights
- A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process
- All current Flu and Covid vaccinations as required
