**Senior Data and Analytics Solution Architect (Relocate to Malta/Consulting/Big 4)**

Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as:
Azure Synapse Analytics-

Azure Blob storage-
Azure Cosmos DB-
ARM templates-
Familiar with Microsoft Power BIFamiliar with Azure PurviewAn understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworksFamiliar with Infrastructure as Code approaches and implementationsFamiliar with development approaches such as CI/CDFamiliar with Azure DevOpsStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work as a team member and leader in a diverse technical environmentBe customer-service orientedBe able to work in a fast-paced, changing environmentFluent in EnglishWilling to travel across the UK and abroad when requiredGraduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable levelFormal training and/or certification on related technologies is highly valuedMinimum of three years working in a similar roleKnowledge of Common Data Models/Industry Data Models/Synapse Analytics Database templates will be considered an assetExperience in OLAP technology and the Microsoft on-premises BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS) will be useful but is not compulsoryKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products, the Common Data Service (CDS) and the Microsoft Power Platform will be considered an asset

**Responsibilities**:
Architecting and overall end-to-end design, deployment and delivery of Azure Data Platforms, across Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, pipelines, Databricks, BI and Data Analytics solutionsPresales, estimating and proposal writing, responding to RFPsRemaining up to date in new and emerging technologiesWorking with clients to develop data technology strategy and roadmaps, and plan deliveryOversight and support of delivery team outputsData modelling, design, and buildInfrastructure as Code deliveryEnforcing technical architecture and documentation standards, policies and proceduresAnalysing, implementing, and resolving issues with existing Azure Data PlatformsWorking with business experts and customers to understand business needs, and translate business requirements into reporting and data analytics functionalityAssisting in scoping, estimation and task planning for assigned projectsFollowing the project work plans to meet functionality requirements, project objectives and timelinesProviding accurate and complete technical architectural documentsAddressing customer queries and issues in a timely mannerProviding mentoring and hands on guidance to other team members
