Our best-in-class solution for fund management seamlessly integrates investor and portfolio company insights via a suite of tools designed ground-up to support the strategic impact of the fund CFO.You'll be joining the Fund Admin Documents team as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer.Our team is focused on creating a centralized platform for managing the large quantity of documents that our fund administration clients need to use to effectively manage their venture capital funds, so that our clients have visibility into the documents which serve as a source of truth for the management of their funds.
In addition, we aim to leverage machine learning in the analysis and extraction of data from these documents in order to automate and streamline various processes that would otherwise be manual and time-consuming, such as audits and new client onboarding.We are a small team with the potential to make a major impact in how we play to win the fund administration market.

If that's what you're looking for, you'll find it in the Fund Admin Documents team.The Problems You'll SolveAs a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the Fund Admin Documents team, you will:Work closely with our product manager, designer, and other engineers on the team to solve major pain points and improve the quality and efficiency of our fund administration servicesWork with a wide array of stakeholders across the business to determine desired outcomes, propose technical solutions, build consensus in support of the initiative, execute, implement, and test your solutions, and deploy and monitor these solutions to real customers in productionImplement and improve our backend APIs and services to power a centralized documents platform for Carta's fund administration clientsCreate and customize our frontend webpages and user interfaces for both internal and external customers to view and manage fund documentsMaintain a high standard of both quality and impact of your technical contributions and act as a positive influence on other engineers across the team and engineering organizationOur frontend is written in Typescript / React (hooks), tested with Jest, and linted with ESLintOur backend runs on Python / Django, using PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and gRPC, and is tested with unit tests and end-to-end regression testsOur designers create wireframes and prototypes in FigmaOur frontend lives within a Frontend Mono-RepoOur continuous integration provider is CircleCIOur observability tooling includes Snowplow / Amplitude, Datadog, and SentryOur infrastructure is maintained via infrastructure-as-code using TerraformAbout YouAt Carta, you're not just an employee.
