**What impact you'll make**:
As a Project Finance Manager of the Aeroderivative business line enter team, department, or function here, you will be an active contributor and a critical business partner to drive growth and maximize profitability for the business line.
The PFM is responsible for ensuring technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.
**What you**'ll do**
- Lead overall project financials and manage financial reporting and closing of projects in accordance with US GAAP.
- Review contract and understand key deliverables, Title Transfer terms, cash milestones, payment terms, FX & tax implications; organize budget handover & allocation; ensure project reviews accurately reflect project financial status and drive results to meet & better the As-sold project financials.
- Partner with the Project Manager to analyze the execution performance and propose action plans to improve contract margin and cash profile as well as corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.
- Drive and support Project team in resolving all complex situations that arise in project execution ensuring the best financial outcome for GE.
- Connect with FP&A team to ensure any variances to Plan is timely reflected.
- Ensure the project accounting entries are validated and accurately captured in the respective ledgers.
- Review and sign off project trial balance and ensure all the required supporting documentations are available for both internal and external audit requests.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to drive LEAN and standardization of work.
- Collaborate with FP&A to develop estimates, plans/forecasts/reviews.
**What you'll bring (B**asic **Q**ualification**s)**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in finance / accounting, or equivalent experience/ knowledge
- Experience in Finance / Accounting
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, (Oracle and/or SAP is an advantage)
- Fluent in English, both oral & written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with big databases, running reports from ERP, Oracle
