Bachelor degree in law, business or accounting
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Advanced English

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to focus on Brazil Tax Audit and Planning activities for Amazon Brazil. This position will be based in São Paulo office.

Key job responsibilities
- Management and coordination of Audits, Litigation and Tax Projects.
- Ensuring Key Controls and Risk Management Processes are detailed and implemented, minimizing risk and exposure to penalties;
- Overseeing the receipt; managing, tracking, of inquiries and communications to business teams and stakeholders.
- Identifying and tracking new legislation, planning and policy trends.
- Working with partner teams to conduct internal reviews and risk assessments.
- Providing Brazil indirect tax planning inputs to both local and global projects.
- Drafting tax technical memos and opinions.
- Liaising with advisors and tax authorities on matters relating to Brazil tax planning.
- Analyzing and supporting legislative changes for Brazil tax field that impact Amazon’s businesses;
