Project Manager Ii

Throughout the project life cycle, the PM shall be accountable for successful delivery of the project or workpack, in line with the regional business objectives in terms of profit and loss, safety, and quality and client satisfaction;
- The PM shall ensure compliance with the project management process and along with other project functions identify improvements to the management system to overcome any barriers to the successful delivery of the project;
- The PM shall develop and lead a high performance team by establishing clear roles and responsibilities, building positives relationships with stakeholders that highlights their impact on the success of the project.
- The PM in conjunction with the core project team shall secure the necessary resources from the support functions to enable the successful delivery of the project;
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
**Responsabilidades e atribuições**
- Focal point for client and Subsea 7 for all project interfaces, delegating where appropriate;
- Has full profit and loss, safety and quality responsibility for the project or workpack assigned;
- Defines, selects, organises and builds the project team as appropriate, encouraging team to achieve project success by reducing cost and maximising profit without compromise to quality or safety;
- Demonstrates safety leadership and ensures that all HSE concerns are closed out prior to work starting. Ensures lessons learned from previous projects are incorporated in planning;
- Ensures all project incidents are fully reported, investigated and corrective actions implemented;
- Is familiarized and capable to use and promote knowledge management tools;
- Strategically manage risks and opportunities of the project, assigning actions to promote or mitigate, as required;
- Monitors and progresses all onshore/offshore operations via regular communication with, and providing direction / advice to site managers;
- Manage the Projects in accordance with PM7;
- Cooperates with other projects and departments to ensure overall efficiency of the company resources including vessels, equipment and personnel;
- Develops a work breakdown structure for all project costs, and controls all project expenditure;
- Ensures deliverables are produced across departments in accordance with BMS and on time;
- Oversees all aspects of any subcontracting required, through adherence to company tendering process and negotiates with suppliers to obtain most cost / risk effective service;
- Sets and communicates the performance standards required to achieve project success. Ensures team members are commercially / contractually aware, and understand their HSE responsibilities;
- Identifies, prepares and pursues payment for contract variations;
- Provides feedback on performance of the team and assist in development as required;
- Liaise with the client to progress the project and to ensure a professional working relationship;
- Responsible for timely and complete project close out.
**Requisitos e qualificações**
- University degree;
- Desirable at least 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry;
- Proven ability to manage large scale projects and workpacks with International clients;
- Outstanding ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively;
Good decision making skills;
- Good ability to synthesize information;
- Good communication & organisational skills;
- Fluent in English
