- We’re an exceptional team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship and we’re growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We’re actively seeking a Ventures Analyst reporting to the Brazil Ventures team to champion the Plug and Play business model and drive portfolio growth._

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:_**
- Sourcing New Startups_
- _Source startups for the respective vertical program._
- _Attend calls or meetings with relevant companies._
- _Build and maintain strong relationships with local VCs, universities, corporations, etc._
- _Actively network with startup founders at industry events and conferences_
- Ventures’ Program Management_
- _Schedule and facilitate deal flow meetings between startups and corporate partners._
- _Curate startup lists for corporate partners based on their technology interests._
- _Maintain relationships with industry partners._
- Diligence/Investment Research_
- Working closely to support Investment Partners on the full lifecycle of making investments: conducting diligence, making investment recommendations, and helping the portfolio._

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor's degree in Energy or Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
- Master's or postgraduate degree in Energy, Environmental Sciences, or related areas is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite executives and VC Partners; adept at public speaking.
- Advanced proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in Portuguese and English.
- Knowledge of the global Energy sector, with a focus on Brazil/Latin America.
- Desirable familiarity with the Utilities sector in Brazil and ANEEL regulation.
- Passion for Energy and Climate Tech.
- Ideally, experience in a management consulting firm and/or corporate innovation environment.

- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, prospects, and industry contacts.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a track record of working independently, prioritizing work, and achieving results.
- Collaborative, diplomatic, and able to partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across multiple offices.
- Experience in/comfort with roles involving ambiguity, requiring proactive analysis and action.
- Passion for early-stage venture capital, startups, and entrepreneurship with a good understanding of emerging technologies.
