If contributing to breakthrough projects in a truly global playground inspires you, this might be the opportunity for you. **SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER** **Job description**: Main responsibilities: Manage daily activities of the software engineers team, building Control & Automation solutions, together with other distributed development teams, for our customers in the Energy market. Ensure the delivery of projects to implement Control & Automation solutions in the Americas/Asia Pacific for our customers. Working with deliverable management to ensure project status is accurate and issues are raised quickly. Working with the software architecture team and front-end development team to design solutions and create common roadmaps. Disseminate operational metrics and support for the software to your teams. Drive improvements in software engineering practices contributing to build the best solutions available in the market. Manage project technical documentation requirements, develop processes and end-user documentation. - The job holder will report to C&A Software Engineering Director. - Location: Rio de Janeiro - Tech Center. **You are meant for this job if**: - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields. - 9 years of experience in the area and at least 6 years of "hands on" Software Programming experience.
