Logistics team is responsible for processes and procedures related to Baker Hughes' shipping logistics and customs across borders. We manage transportation, deliveries and customs clearance procedures and new projects related to logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers,

As a **Logistics Specialist**, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating with customs broker, freight forwarder, terminals, warehouse, bonded warehouses, import and export processes to drive excellence in deliveries at a high-quality level.
- Analyzing import/export processes to determine methods for improving efficiency and reducing costs. Make sure imported/exported goods comply with government regulations and Company Policies.
- Handling with good communication with internal customers about the importation and exportation status. Helping foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members
- Contributing to projects as a team member. Tracking products flow from origin to final delivery
- Supporting procedures review, to ensure maximum efficiency or minimum cost
- Validating with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost
- Discussing business strategies, practices, or policies with managers. Monitoring organizational processes. Supporting on evaluation of vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders, custom brokers, airport and port terminal, warehouses and bonded warehouses) according to quality standards.
- Be responsible for the proper and accurate execution from OTD (“on-time delivery”) and cost control metrics.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Show solid experience in logistics and Customs Operations and procedures;
- Have a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Accounting Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Law or Foreign Trade;
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle), Ecomex System, Power BI;
- Have knowledge of Customs regimes such Repetro Sped, Repetro Industrialização, Ex Tarifário request and control, temporary import and export, Drawback;
- Classification of the goods, catalog of DUIMP and governance and customs compliance rules are a differential.
- Demonstrate experience with importation and exportation dangerous goods (such as radioactive, explosive and chemicals) is a differential.
- Demonstrate good communication skills. Interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and in group, Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and Spanish is an advantage.
