Financial Assistant

The Financial Assistant will perform surveys and controls of financial transactions, monitor cash flow, accounts payable and receivable. Their role is to keep an eye on expenses and study the available resources.

**As a Financial Assistant you will**:

- Assist and monitor cash flow management, collections and investments, issuing reports and accounts payable and receivable, posting transactions to the bank and organizing documents;
- Process invoices and follow up with customers, vendors and partners when necessary;
- Assist in budget preparation and create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs);
- Perform bank reconciliation of accounts, checking rate entries, payments, and credits;
- Effect the write-off in the bank control system, verifying eventual pendencies and participating in audits when necessary;
- Perform the receiving processes, verify cases of default, identifying ways of negotiation to reduce the liability;
- Assist in the calculation of taxes and the posting of invoices, promote cost evaluation and update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.

**We expect you to have**:

- Professional experience as a Financial Assistant or similar position;
- Mastery of basic mathematics, financial mathematics and computer tools is essential, as well as being proactive, organized, patient, focused, and team-oriented;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions);
- Skills in conduct learning on web-based platforms in ODL (Online Distance Learning) modality;
- Familiarity with financial management software (e.g. NIBO);
- Good knowledge of accounting and accounting procedures.

**Would also be nice to have**:

- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is a plus;
- Operational English.
