**Responsabilidades e atribuições**
Você deverá participar do gerenciamento de processos/ serviços da biblioteca, através de técnicas biblioteconômicas e apoiar em ações visando a formação de leitores críticos e cidadãos plenos. Assim, você auxiliará o bibliotecário nas seguintes atribuições
- Organizar e catalogar acervos;
- Prestar atendimento e orientar os usuários sobre o funcionamento da biblioteca;
- Participar da construção de programas de leitura e eventos culturais, difundindo a importância da leitura e os benefícios do uso da informação;
- Zelar pela conservação do acervo;
- Processar o acervo através de técnicas biblioteconômicas;
- Pesquisar e propor novas mídias interativas com o objetivo de despertar o interesse pela leitura;
- Gerir o sistema de acervo;
- Efetuar inventário do acervo segundo periodicidade definida;
- Realizar controle dos empréstimos, informando à criança e professor sobre a necessidade de devolução e solicitar à secretaria a cobrança, se necessário e conforme política da escola;
- Organizar acervo por faixa etária;
- Realizar outras atividades correlatas à função, sempre que solicitado pelo superior imediato.

You must participate on the management of library processes/services using library science techniques and support initiatives aimed at fostering the development of critical readers and well-rounded citizens. Thus, you'll assist the librarian in the following responsibilities:

- Organize and catalog collections;
- Provide assistance and guide users on library operations;
- Contribute to the development of reading programs and cultural events, promoting the importance of reading and the benefits of information use;
- Ensure the preservation of collections;
- Process collections using library science techniques;
- Research and propose new interactive media to stimulate interest in reading;
- Manage the collection system;
- Conduct inventory of the collection according to defined periodicity;
- Monitor loans, inform students and teachers about the need for returns, and request assistance from the administration for collection, if necessary and according to school policy;
- Organize collections by age group;
- Perform other related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor.
