**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

We are looking for a motivated, and enthusiastic Manager for our Regional SEC AMERICAS Team. The regional team is a group of procurement professionals operating cross category and cross country for Americas. We are working closely together with all Procurement Categories, with the Procurement Hub and other Service Delivery teams.

**ABOUT THE TEAM**

The Sourcing Excellence Champions implement and execute the different procurement category strategy activities within their respective region, such as conducting competitive tenders, negotiating contracts, providing advice and guidance to internal customers/suppliers on procedures and processes, or managing the collaboration to the Service Delivery Hubs.

**What will you do**
- Manage, lead and represent the SEC AMERCIAS team
- Appropriately balance workload and priorities among the team members
- Lead and/or participate in global procurement programs and projects
- Identify people development opportunities and develop team members
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and internal policies
- Closely collaborate and interact with the other regional SEC manager, category heads and suppliers
- Engage with stakeholders regarding relevant focus topics, standardization/continuous improvement opportunities, and prioritization
- Drive transformation, performance by setting ambitious goals, providing clear guidance on expectations and accountabilities in a regular feedback cycle with your employees

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- University degree preferably in Business Administration or a related field
- Understanding of E2E procurement practices, procurement tools, and sourcing strategies
- Ability to work in international teams in an virtual environment
- Solution-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record in internal customer communication & escalations management
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken, written), other languages are welcome
- 5+ years procurement experience (which includes at least 3 years’ experience in a procurement function in a multinational company)
- Experience in leading teams, either as manager or team lead
