**Duties and Responsibilities**

Practice Development
- Learn and practice deployment methodologies of Ariba cloud solution.
- Learn, assist, and eventually lead implementation phases such as solutions design, business rule development, user interface configuration & customization and external system integration.
- Learn about and assist the customer with data extraction from their existing systems, ensuring adherence to data specifications, and resulting in successful integration with Ariba cloud solutions.
- Be able to influence decision making processes using facts and demonstrations driven by best practices.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and various internal groups within SAP Ariba such as Technical Support, Sales, Engineering, and Solutions Marketing

Customer Focus
- Show high level of commitment towards customer success.
- Maintains regular communications with Customer representatives during implementation to keep them appraised of current project status.

- Be willing to continuously learn new features (and occasionally new technology) and adapt to changing cloud technology and deployment methodologies.
- Think out of the box and be ready to explore unchartered areas of customer engagements.

Teamwork
- Works with and often lead internal and external resources to optimize customer impact.
- Proactively collaborates and drives the internal team to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution deployment.
- Executes with mínimal guidance and shows strong initiative.
- Maintains regular communications with the Project Manager

**Basic Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in business / computer science
- Strong communication skills including:

- Fluency in English
- Ability to deliver presentations and lead discussions remotely in a virtual environment.
- Ability to delivery presentations and lead discussions on-site
- Strong Organizational skills with proven experience in managing work from multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel on a mínimal basis (less than 10%)

**Preferred Experience**
- Good professional experience (technical consulting or custom development)
- Experience with / exposure to systems implementation process/methodology including Waterfall and Agile approaches.
- Experience in / exposure to implementing or supporting cloud solutions.
- Knowledgeable about ERPs
- Experience in providing software demos / delivering training / tutoring.
- Exposure to object-oriented programming concepts and principles

**Preferred Knowledge**
- Technical Education Background (IT, Engineering Degree, Physical Sciences)
- Understanding of systems implementation process
- XML - ability to read, define and map XML documents.
- SQL - ability to create queries in SQL
- MS Suite - ability to communicate effectively with Excel, Word, PPT, Visio
- Web services - some background/exposure
- Object oriented programming (Java, JavaScript, shell script)
