**What’s the opportunity?**

The Fraud Prevention Head (Seller fraud) will be in charge of leading the anti-fraud strategy regarding false merchants that wanted to take advantage from dLocal direct platform and marketplace merchants in order to commit fraud. The objective will be to build and improve all the processes and strategies of fraud prevention control in all the different stages of the merchant journey always having in mind our principal goal of increase conversion rate.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Collaborating in establishing a fraud prevention strategy for dLocal spin off for SMB's (dLocal Go) and big marketplaces with sub merchant structure
- Guiding the team of analysts and leaders to continuously improve the current strategy by developing rules, deploying ML models and define the right threshold, working together with de data science team to improve prediction accuracy, guide product to build new features to avoid fraudulent cash out and improve false positive recovery process
- Leading the forensics analysis : Identifying fraud patterns by continuous review of previous fraud and monitoring current traffic to have an early warning in case of an attack in the different stages of the journey
- Analizing new databases to improve the amount of relevant data provided to our score.
- Recommending improvements to the fraud prevention strategy and processes.

**What skills do I need?**:

- Experience manipulating and exploring large databases. No need to do queries in SQL or Python but must have reading and interpretation knowledge
- Strong Analytical Skills and passionate for discovering new patterns.
- Have a ability of going to detail without losing the big picture
- Enthusiastic, Proactive, team player & problem solver.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
