**About the Role**:We are looking for a dynamic Logistics Support Associate to join our team based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will work in alignment with the Brazilian importation governmental requirements and in partnership with Import Expert, in order to support the business growth in South America (Brazil, Argentina and Chile). This Associate will be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Have strong knowledge in Supply Chain flow: Supplier, Manufacture, Warehouse, Export Process, Import Process until delivery at customer
- Provide the best flow and solution to guarantee efficiency in the importation and logistics process
- Control all costs related to inventory (Inventory Cost Management)
- Prepare and control KPI’s of external providers, lead time and transit time
- Interface with the external warehouse - daily routine (Shipments and Returns)
- Control inventory into E1 (ERP - JDE System) - receiving and transferences
- Have a strategic view in logistics and supply chain flow in order to provide the best solution to support the business model decision
- Develop guidelines and best practices in Logistics for Gore South America (Brazil, Chile and Argentina)
- Work closely and aligned with all areas: Sales, IT, Marketing, Finance, etc. to minimize operational work and maximize logistics solution efficiency, which impacts Gore worldwide

**Required Qualifications**:

- University degree in Foreign Trade or Logistics OR 3 years experience in Logistics operations
- Prior experience in managing external warehouse and Transportation carrier services
- Demonstrated knowledge of Importation process and Transportation Management systems
- Demonstrated understanding of importation process, costs control, supply chain flow and inventory management
- Possess a positive attitude, be energized and passionate and always display professional behavior
- Experience with Logistic invoices and local tax knowledge
- Experience in Computer skills with Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Have excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Portuguese (writing and speaking)
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks according to business needs
- Display a strong work ethic along with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, identify problems/opportunities, facilitate resolutions with cross functional teams

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Experience with ERP system (Oracle JDE E1) and Importation system control (Softway)
- Having knowledge in project management
