**What are we looking for?**
Product Development Scientist working in the Makeup Eye lab to formulate high performing, inclusive, high quality products. Works closely with packaging team to ensure the product is compatible and stable and delivers the right in-use experience. Works with other R&D partners to qualify formulation safety, compliance, stability and performance. Ensures formulation work is on track for key project milestones. Responsible for technical development of product formulation from inception to launch.
**What are the main responsibilities**:
Uses technical methods and sensory testing to evaluate product performance and ensure targets are delivered. Works with R&D partner functions and Market Research to qualify product safety, efficacy, diversity in product, compliance, stability and quality and to validate product performance with the consumer.
**Who is the person?**
Experience in R&D in FMCG industry, ideally in Beauty / Personal care, or other lab based experience on product development. Bachelors degree in a related scientific discipline a plus
**What you need to have?**
Strong chemistry and analytical training as well as problem solving, interpersonal, team, bench and communications (oral & written) skills. Strong organizational competencies and able to work successfully in a matrix global environment.
Entry level with related degree and/or relevant experience
