**Solution Architect**:

This role involves responsibility for the design, integrity and quality of an IS solution and of associated IS services delivered to business and support functions as well as IS Technology domains. You will ensure that the solution/service provides the required functionality and meets cost expectations, while contributing to project set-up and delivery and to optimizing service operations.

**This position reports to**:
IT Systems Architecture Chief Specialist

**Your responsibilities**:

- Designing technical Information Systems solution.
- Engaging in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by standard functionalities and for which functionalities enhancements are needed.
- Reviewing the outcome of work provided by contractors.
- Giving the advice and supporting changes of existing Information Systems solutions.
- Maintaining the documentation of integrations landscape.
- Conducting code reviews.
- Maintaining the documentation of integrations landscape.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

**Your background**:

- 5 years of experience in software design/development.
- Experience with DevOps, Pipelines, CD/CI.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns, S.O.L.I.D principles.
- Experience with testing, Unit Tests/Integration Tests.
- Experience with Docker Containers, Kubernetes.
- Experience with API Gateways, Load Balancer.
- Experience with Cloud Services (Azure/AWS).
- Experience with Git.
- Master’s in computing sciences or equivalent.
- Fluency in English.
