**Requirements**:

- University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent working experience;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Experience in purchasing and negotiation within supplier relationships;
- Experience within the manufacturing industry;
- Proven negotiation, analytical and communication skills;
- Strong business acumen, agile in way of working;
- Positive attitude, service minded and target oriented approach;
- Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose;
- Strong team player with the ability to lead;
- Ability to be open minded, to encourage collaboration and to add value with a continuous improvement mindset;
- Motivated by change management and ability to drive change;

- Willingness to travel occasionally.

**Activities**:

- Leading the purchasing activities on your scope with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the customers maximum satisfaction;
- Negotiating QDCFTSR of the supplier base under your segments;
- Performing purchasing activities related to ordering, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers;
- Working with your North American Engineering and global Purchasing counterparts to drive current supplier performance to the defined targets;
- Researching market trends and engaging potential new suppliers in feasibility discussions.
