Import / Export Technician

MISSION

To manage the Transportation of all materials (External Logistics) assuring the continuous and efficient flow.

To reduce and optimize the internal cost of Transportation and Import/Export (Customs and Brokers)

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

**To negotiate and reduce the internal cost of**: Transportation, Customs and Brokers

To manage the import/export process of materials according the local requirements and legislation

To organize the normal/urgent transports from suppliers and to clients.

To define the transportation plan (milk run, pick up)

To identify areas for improvement in his/her area and to participate in the continuous improvement activities of the area following the FMS lean model and the strategic guidelines.

Lead the A3 of Transportation Cost and the improvement team.

Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**:
Secondary or Vocational Training or Medium Degree

**Languages**:
English (Proficient Level)

**Experience**:
2 years in similar position
