Minimum qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or equivalent strategy and project management experience.
- Experience influencing and advising executives.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading programs with multiple work streams composed of team members from various cross-functional teams.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, user experience, and client teams.
- A high degree of familiarity with program management processes, tools, key performance indicators (KPIs), and best practices.
- Familiarity with both agile and waterfall software development and implementation of third-party solutions.
- Detail-oriented with direct experience creating program project plans and active management of program risks, action items, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID) logs.

As a Head of Strategy & Operations at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices and organizations. You will coordinate teams and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the multi-year engineering expansion efforts in Brazil.
- Partner with engineering, business, and external stakeholders in developing, managing, and monitoring an integrated roadmap that supports the engineering expansion.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive and optimize business objectives.
- Manage, define, roll out, and continuously enhance processes, tools, and KPIs with the mindset of driving operational excellence and scalability.
- Coordinate external site wide events and communications to support recruiting, public relations, and policy.
