Logistics team is responsible for processes and procedures related to Baker Hughes' shipping logistics and customs across borders. We manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.

As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll manage import and export shipments, customs procedures, international and inland/domestic freights related to logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.
**Location**: Macaé or Rio de Janeiro/RJ
**Hybrid work (in the future can be 100% onsite position in accordance to Baker Hughes' policies and/or client's needs).**

As a **Logistics Specialist**, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating with the customs broker the customs clearance procedures for import and export processes to grasp a flawless execution;
- Coordinating deliveries with freight forwarder, transport companies and port and airport terminals;
- Analyzing import/export processes to determine methods for improving efficiency and reducing costs. Make sure imported/exported goods comply with government regulations and Company Policies and compliance;
- Handling communication with internal customers about the importation and exportation status. Helping foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members;
- Prepare and send reports and KPI’s for domestic freight control, cargo consolidation, cargo return, discount and savings control;
- Review and approval of logistics cost (inland/domestic freight, tariffs, stand by, extras fees);
- Verify that all Transports are meeting operational and administrative requirements for transportation services;
- Follow up - track and trace for critical loads (High Priority Services).

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Show solid experience in logistics;
- Have additional experience in Customs Operations;
- Have a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, law, Logistics or Foreign Trade;
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Demonstrate experience with importation of radioactive, explosive and chemicals. Knowledge of Domestic Logistics control;
- Demonstrate good communication skills. Interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. problem solving skills;
- Be able to communicate fluently both in English and Portuguese;
- Be able to travel.

Nice qualifications to have (but not mandatory):

- Have knowledge in _Ecomex systems;_
- Have knowledge of Customs regimes such Repetro Sped, Repetro Industrialização, Ex Tarifário request and control.
