**About the job**

The HSE Specialist is locally responsible for a specific area of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE).The HSE Specialist plays a key role in the implementation and ongoing surveillance of specific aspects of the Marel Global Safety Policy and Standards.The HSE function exists to provide all employees with a safe and healthy working environment and make sure the organization complies with employment, HSE regulations and laws.

**About you**

**You will recognize in yourself**:

- Recognized HSE academic qualifications, accepted by the HSE Manager and /or Committee
- Practical and hands-on working style and demonstrable experience is needed
- Demonstrable HSE experience and proven record of accomplishment within the specialism is preferred.
- Prior working experience in similar industries is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at Senior and operational levels internally and external to the organization
