In this position, you will report to the **Manager Construction Site** in Wärtsilä, and location of is in **Itajaí/SC, Brazil** (in person). **What you will be doing?** In this position, your work will include **plan, define, and control of QA activities** based on **customer requirements, classification societies, certification bodies and required standards** (ISO, AQAP) or internal regulations. On a typical day, you be in **contact with customer for all quality issues on shipyard** in coordination with the Project Quality Manager (PQM). **Main responsibilities**: - Preparing reliability and failure analysis for system deliveries according to general engineering rules, contractual requirements and/or classification society requirements - Assisting in the preparation and execution of quality assurance acceptance tests (FAT "Factory Acceptance Test", I+I "installation+integration", HAT "Harbor Acceptance Test", SAT "See Acceptance Test") for military projects - Reviewing and evaluate the quality status of suppliers during the selection process - Planning, execution, and control of QA activities for integration/installation on shipyard and support of acceptance in the delivery process - Tracking QA activities during production: including suppliers and Quality Analyst - Monitoring the quality level of product and system deliveries and supporting acceptance tests, both internally and with suppliers - Handling of all product/process non-conformities (NC) related to installation work on the shipyard - Creating and ensure business unit QA KPIs - Preparing and follow-up of internal and external audits in coordination with PQM - Developing and control measures to reduce warranty costs - Communicating and report quality issues to the appropriate solution or product owner as well as to PQM and ensure follow-up activities - Contributing to develop Quality Analyst **Requirements**: - Bachelor education, complete or in progress in Engineering or Business Administration; - Certificate in Quality; - Advanced English (written and spoken); - Experience in implementation or maintenance of Quality Management Systems; - Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and the Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001; - Understanding of quality assurance; - Experience working with quality assurance in business environment; - Previous experience in shipyard will be a plus; **Skills**: - Documentation management; - Problem solver; - Teamwork; - Communication skills; - Leadership; - People management is desirable; **Why you and why us?** This position offers a concrete possibility to contribute to the transition towards a 100% renewable energy future.
