**About Scrawlr**

Scrawlr is a company building a software platform and series of products dedicated to enabling alternative forms of communication layered on existing internet content, together with delivering superior monetization flexibility and content ownership for content generators. This role supports two of Scrawlr’s Tenant Businesses, which utilize Scrawlr technology to rapidly enter new markets as competitor brands.

Scrawlr is developing several products that are focused on improving the travel experience and helping users save money. Our products are exciting, evolving and in continuous development - designed to disrupt the travel market and become competitor brands. These tenant businesses integrate Scrawlr technology to offer Platform as a Service distribution.

Our team members are given a high degree of product ownership, including the latitude to propose and implement approaches that can be divergent from all standard or existing solutions.

**Responsibilities**

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure coverage of business requirements, edge cases and cross-browser compatibility.
- Close collaboration with engineering and product to develop and maintain a testing framework.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify product defects, implementing new automation tools and workflows where relevant.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Document test results and maintain testing documentation.
- Uphold QA best practices including enforcing test standards, processes and tools across the team.

**Required Skills or Experience**
- 2-5 years in Automated testing and or QA analytics
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning and defect management
- Familiarity with **Playwright, Puppeteer, and React**like frameworks
- Familiarity with Postman or alternative API testing tools.
- Proficiency in **JavaScript**:

- Excellent English and Portuguese communication skills and ability to convey complex technical details.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into **GitHub Actions** and **CircleCI.**

**Nice to Have Skills or Experience**
- Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as **ClickUp**.
- Basic understanding of **HTML**, **CSS** and browser DevTools for debugging front-end issues.
- Working proficiency of **SQL**.

**Compensation**
- _$ 20,500 - $ 25,500 Cdn/year _

**Position Type**

- _Time Commitment:_ 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required

- _Reporting To: _Tenant Business Head of Development
