The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. **About the Team**:

- Data & Analytics Senior Analyst The Shopee Xpress Data & Analytics team is responsible for the development of data-based solutions (dashboards, datasets, deep dives, etc.) to help monitoring all logistics operations with a data-driven approach. Our team works very closely with all operations teams (first mile, middle mile, last mile, sorting centers, etc). Our main goal is to improve efficiency from the moment a parcel is picked up from a seller until it is delivered to the buyer. As a data analyst on our team you will interact with our internal clients to understand their issues, get requirements, help to develop and monitor KPIs, and do deep dives in data to deliver actionable insights to the business.- Analyze data from our main processes (first mile, middle mile, last mile and sorting center operations) providing actionable insights and support for decision makers;
- Query and aggregate large datasets using SQL, create data pipelines and automate reports;
- Develop dashboards with key metrics using the best practices of data visualization
- Interact with senior leadership;
- Use statistical techniques and tools to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and business teams.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience in analytical roles
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Experience working with at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Qlik, Metabase, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Be a team player, a self-starter and able to show critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Be able to prioritize tasks and manage your own time

Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience with Power BI, Google Data Studio, Spark/Pyspark, PrestoDB and Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn, etc)
- Knowledge in data warehousing, ETL/ELT - Advanced english
