**Main job function**
Qualifications:
Minimum of N6 in Mechanical Engineering
Be in possession of a Trade Test as a Mechanical Fitter
**Experience**:
Have at least 5yrs experience in Mechanical Fitting, Rigging or Boiler Making in a supervisory capacity within a heavy industrial environment
Be au fait with Bulk Materials Handling and conveyers
Knowledge of Labor Legislation and The Occupational Health and Safety Act
Have solid experience motivating a team
Computer literacy on MS Office, a drivers license and own reliable transport is required
Previous experience managing a team and being responsible for managing and controlling plant machinery, breakdowns and repairs, installations and modifications of plant equipment
Ensure that legal and operational compliances are met
Take charge of administration related to tools, equipment, materials, consumables and staff requirements
Liaisons with both internal and external stakeholders
