**Position**:
The Power BI Specialist is responsible for delivering actionable reports and dashboard for business stakeholders on the performance of the department. They understand company data structure across multiple systems very well and can transform and visualize this data.

They maintain the departmental BI infrastructure, manage users and requests.
- Delivers required project inputs according to time, quality and budget requirements
- Ensures progress is accurately communicated and expectations of various stakeholders are managed effectively
- Proactively integrates new technologies for more advanced analytics including and not limited to PowerFlow, PowerApps and Machine Learning
- Sets up Dataflows for ETL and maintains them
- Provides Power BI desktop & cloud platform, gateways & administration support and expertise
- Suggests improvements/best practices and takes ownership of implementing them.
- Provides good DAX, data modelling and basic M (Power Query Editor) capability
- Produce and enhance reports & dashboards
- Provide technical input and effective data analysis to projects to support the achievement of deliverables to time and budget
- Maintains knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 6 Years of experience in MS Power BI
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams
- Experience producing data structure diagrams and documentation
- Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work with best practices
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-starter and maintains positive attitude.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; coordinate complex projects, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Very good understanding of relational databases
- Required experience/knowledge of a software or programming environment:

- MS Power BI, Sharepoint, Azure, Redshift, Dataflows
- Power query/M, DAX
- Optional, but preferred experience with:

- SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL, AWS Glue
- Other reporting tools like: Tableau, Quicksight
