Senior Cloud Developer (Full Stack - Hybrid/Remote)

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**What you'll do**:
GreenLake Cloud Platform is an internally developed innovative cloud-stack that powers HPE’s Cloud Solutions. The GreenLake Cloud Platform is a unified operational experience that provides a simplified view and access to all cloud services, spanning the entire HPE portfolio, with single sign-on access, security, compliance, elasticity, and data protection. The Greenlake Cloud Platform is the foundation to a rich set of cloud services in networking, data services, high performance computing and compute operations management.

**Responsibilities**:
You will work as a member of a Scrum team with other software engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.

This role will be mostly focused on the backend development (70%) with some front-end work (30%). As a senior team member, it is expected you to lead component and feature design, implementation, and testing. It is also expected that you will be driving discussions inside and outside the team, seek for innovation and new technologies to be incorporated in the project.

**Experience and knowledge in many of the following**:

- Experience in Javascript, HTML5 and CSS.
- Differential is having experience on using React Hooks and React state management solutions such as Redux/Redux-Saga
- Experience with Micro frontend architecture.
- Desired experience working with public cloud services. Differential is having knowledge on AWS.
- Excellent programming skills (Golang, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience with Node.js is a plus.
- Experience with microservice architecture and REST API development.
- Differential is having experience developing IAM and related technologies (SSO, SAML, OIDC, etc.)
- Experience with automated CI/CD tools and processes such as Github Actions and GitOps
- Understanding of container and orchestration technologies - Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience managing infrastructure as code, both on-prem and cloud based, using tools like ansible, terraform, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including being fluent in English

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 8+ of experience [expert level]
