How you will create an impact
This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our Liabilities area
Environmental Risk Assessment; Environmental Risks Underwriting for Midsize and Small Brokers, including AIG GO;
Support the Senior team to negotiate and retain Environmental Insurance policies
Support the Senior team to develop and maintain updated wordings; Attend AIG Brazil branches
Support market awareness and training initiatives.
Your relationships with brokers will be key to your success. You will need to provide excellent service to brokers through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach to underwriting. You will also aim to generate new business by expanding your broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market - in line with a sales plan established with your manager.
Another key aspect of the role is the provision of accurate monthly management information including submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium.
What you’ll need to succeed
Preferable previous Experience on Environmental Engineering and Environmental Risk Assessment
Intermediate Level of English
Preferred graduation on Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or Chemical Engineering.
Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
