**Job Title**: Senior SAP ABAP Developer - Brazil Tax Compliance Project
**Location**: Onsite - São Leopoldo, Brazil Start Date: Immediate Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)Industry: Global Food Services Company Languages Required: Portuguese (Brazil) & English
 Project Overview
We are hiring a highly experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a Brazil-based tax compliance and localization project. The role involves working closely with global delivery teams to ensure technical compliance with evolving Brazilian legal and tax requirements across SAP systems.
 Work Environment
**ERP Systems**: SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments
**Workload**: 40 hours/week, full-time
**Mode**: 100% Onsite in São Leopoldo
**Start**: Immediate onboarding preferred
易 Key Responsibilities
Analyze technical and legal requirements driven by Brazil’s tax reform and local compliance mandates.
Create and review Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
Build and enhance SAP custom objects using ABAP/OO, ensuring compliance with Brazil’s localization and reporting standards.
Conduct thorough unit testing, debugging, and quality assurance of developed components.
Collaborate with functional and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation.
Support and extend legal reporting solutions including SPED and digital compliance frameworks.
Work with internal teams following standard enterprise tools and development methodologies.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
6+ years of solid experience in SAP ABAP/OO development and technical design.
Deep expertise in Brazilian legal and tax reporting, including SPED reports and localization.
Experience working with SAP ERP platforms (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
**Strong knowledge of**:
Software architecture & lifecycle
Requirements and gap analysis
Legal reporting design and development
Experience with SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) or similar compliance tools.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently on high-impact development tasks.
 Languages Required
Portuguese (Brazil) - Professional working proficiency (required)
English - Fluent (required)
