Role Description
- Payroll calculation check, managing the relationship with the Payroll vendor (guaranteeing all info is inserted in time, checking the previous payroll calculating and returning any adjustments necessary, checking the final calculation and confirming for the vendor to generate the final bank archive).
- Bank funding control (checking the values to be processed in each payment and asking for the Finance team to provide enough funds for processing)
- Accounting preparation and checking for alignment with the finance team, giving any explanations needed due to variations identified (here we expect to have a proactive analysis to anticipate any explanation needed as well as identifying variations to communicate the Finance team)
- All taxes checking and payment processing (INSS, IR and others) considering 3 entities (one with desoneração)
- Continuous improvement for the Payroll processing and check processes, looking for automation opportunities, participate in the Payslip project implementation guaranteeing the Payroll processes are done in the new platform as well as looking for possible improvements regarding automation and integration between systems (Payroll provider system APData, Employees data system Workday and Finance system SAP)

Context

We have this role in the other countries operations, as well as today in Brazil. We are reorganising the area, redirecting the actual Analyst II responsible for this process to another function that is being added to the team (terminations processing) and then replacing with this new SR position mapped in the reorg plan. Also other two internalizations (transforming some CAA from 3rd parties into Payroll and generating savings to fund almost totally this added position).

Objectives
Get all payroll processing and accounting processes, managing and processing all independently.
Team Structure

This new position reports to the People Ops & Payroll Coordinator, working directly with all other analysts and assistants that are responsible for processes that generate input for payroll processing.
Hard Skills & Experience
Payroll laws and regulations, payroll calcs (do and check) with experience working with external vendor processing, accounting closing for payroll and benefits, bank management for payroll, advanced english Process improvement mindset and experience, fluent in english

General Competencies

Good communication, teamwork, organisation, innovative and processes enhancement oriented, internal client attendance

Location
This role will be hybrid in the office located in Pinheiros, São Paulo.
