Marketing Specialist is an individual contributor who collaborates with theater and global marketing, and in-region channel account managers to identify opportunities for growth, recommend action, schedule and plan projects, estimate investments, and manage projects to completion. This role is part of a wider Revenue Marketing team, whose primary objective is to develop a quality pipeline of leads through digital and field marketing while leveraging channel partnerships as an extension of the Poly marketing and sales organization.

**Your day to day**
- Define a region-specific marketing plan that leverages the global marketing model while supporting the regional sales strategy. The plan should include strategies for the UC&C as well as the contact center markets with an emphasis on mid-market (i.e. not field sales owned) accounts.
- Act as a market expert and regional consultant to ensure global campaigns promote solutions that are relevant to Brazil’s sales strategy. You will be given a pre-launch review of campaign assets and should review for regional applicability, modifying where appropriate.
- Provide local/final review as the in-country reviewer** **on any end-user-facing content produced by centralized marketing functions such as product marketing, brand, communications, or digital marketing and customer experience.
- Plan and host online and offline events including local language webinars to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities, and deepen our existing customer relationships. These could include industry trade shows, events put on by our channel and alliance partners, or those that are hosted by Poly. In many cases, this includes the development of the invitations, landing pages, and follow-up strategy to ensure the highest possible ROI.
- While Poly social accounts are managed centrally, the Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible for the delivery of region-specific social content to our central social team, as well as acting as an in-country reviewer for any centrally produced social content.
- Be media trained and assist in developing the regional public relations plan, including hosting local members of the media, facilitating interviews with local team members, consulting on the most influential publications and individuals in your region, and acting as the in-country reviewer for PR content.
- Work with product/solution marketing and demand gen teams to ensure the local website performs well as a demand generation tool. Also, act as an in-country reviewer for new web pages being added to local sites by global marketing functions.
- Work with the demand gen, sales support, and the Sales Development Team (SDT) to recommend lead routing processes - from Marketing Response to Closed Won/Lost - that will work in the region given local sales strategy, channel relationships, and resources.
- Ultimately, success is measured by marketing-generated pipeline and revenue in your region. This individual should feel comfortable providing reports from SFDC and marketing automation platforms on past and in-quarter pipeline from a specific tactic or from in-region marketing efforts overall.

**What you bring to the team**
- 5+ years of related marketing experience
- Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing a strategy
- Experience partnering with a sales team with the ability to balance their priorities with those of marketing
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish a plus
- Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time
- Strong communication skills - written and spoken
- Entrepreneurial and work well in a rapidly changing environment
- Creative, innovative, and always think outside the box
- Performance driven.
