**Job Description Summary**: The GE Celma Repair Engineer demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in repair activities, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop procedures to repair aircraft engine components in accordance with the Engine Shop Manual and technical requirements;
- Support the shop to keep the production flowing within the expected Quality, TAT and Cost;
- Develop deep study on non-conformances e provide effective process correction to prevent future failures;
- Work with the Cost Team and Six Sigma Team to reduce scrap rate and develop productivity projects;
- Create reliable and structured repair instructions and provide the revision when the Engine Shop Manual is updated;
- Provide clarification and support to the Operational Team relative to doubts and requirements interpretation;
- Participate on internal and external technical meetings to solve complex problems. Search for multidisciplinary interaction with the Component Repair Team;
- Lead technical initiatives on the shop to support the business metrics;
- Available to work in shifts to support the Production Team.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Technical Skills**
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering;
- Fluent in English and Portuguese;
- Demonstrated desire to develop technical expertise;
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;

**DESIRED**:

- Statistics basic knowledge;
- Problem Solving tools knowledge.
