Software Architect I

Overview: As a Microsoft Copilot Consultant, you will be at the forefront of assisting organizations in leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Copilot, a cutting-edge AI-powered code generation tool. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through the implementation, customization, and optimization of Copilot within their development workflows. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, streamline development processes, and empower developers to create high-quality code efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consultation and Assessment: Engage with clients to understand their development requirements, challenges, and objectives, and conduct thorough assessments to identify opportunities for integrating Microsoft Copilot into their workflows.
- Implementation and Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of Microsoft Copilot within client environments, configuring settings, establishing best practices, and ensuring seamless integration with existing tools and processes.
- Customization and Training: Customize Microsoft Copilot to align with client-specific needs, preferences, and coding standards, and provide comprehensive training and guidance to developers on leveraging Copilot effectively to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Quality Assurance and Code Reviews: Conduct regular code reviews and quality assurance checks to assess the efficacy of Microsoft Copilot-generated code, identify potential issues or improvements, and provide constructive feedback to developers.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to optimize the performance and efficiency of Microsoft Copilot-generated code, address bottlenecks, and implement enhancements to streamline development workflows.
- Documentation and Best Practices: Create documentation, guidelines, and best practices for using Microsoft Copilot, including code samples, tutorials, and troubleshooting tips, to promote adoption and ensure consistent usage across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of updates, enhancements, and best practices related to Microsoft Copilot and other AI-driven development tools, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within client environments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, and/or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven development tools and platforms, with specific experience in Microsoft Copilot preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business leaders.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and technologies is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications, such as Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Developer Associate, are advantageous.
