- Maintain HANA database landscapes
- Backup and recovery
- Database troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Application capacity planning
- Optimize database resources
- HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Data Modelling, Admin
- Monitor HANA databases, setup alerts and automate the monitoring processes
- Configure predictive system warnings and monitor metrics to avoid unexpected system outages
- Coordinate with the SAP BASIS teams
- Provide technical expertise for HANA performance and tuning

**Requirements**:

- Work Experience: Proven experience as an SME with HANA tuning, management, backup and recovery methods, and tools
- HANA studio, DBA cockpit to analyze traces and dumps for memory and CPU consumption
- HANA Remote access, migration, and user management
- Troubleshooting skills: performance tuning, patching, provisioning, and high availability of HANA systems
- Database trace utilities and trace log-file analysis
- SAP database management transaction codes
- SAP HANA table management techniques, including data compression, table partitioning, compression techniques, and load/unload tables in memory
- Soft skills: Team player, data-driven, problem-solving mindset, can multitask, and meet deadlines
