**Your role**
- Are you a sharp evaluator of risk, who enjoys evaluating complex business processes and products? Do you want to play a key role in improving the effectiveness of business critical processes to help safeguard and strengthen UBS?

We are looking for a Head of Audit Latam to:

- delivery of complex risk and control assessment, ideally within the financial industry, consulting firm or internal audit function.
- strong understanding of risks, data governance and data management, data lineage, data quality and ideally (or) knowledge of audit methodology.
- able to quickly understand complex processes and challenge the status quo, identifying risks and inadequacies in processes
- setting outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results)
- creating an environment where teams are empowered, use their professional judgement and are encouraged to take collective responsibility for their audit delivery

**Your team**
- Group Internal Audit’s (GIA) role, as an independent function, is to support UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financial, and compliance objectives.
You will be leading the GIA team based in São Paulo, Brazil that covers the Investment Bank and Global Wealth Management businesses and the Group Functions across Latin America and works closely with GIA colleagues in the US and across the globe.

**Your expertise**
- 10 years of experience in a similar role
- strong background in the financial industry
- solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
- team player with a strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
- commitment to keeping up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts and methods
- fluent in Portuguese and English with excellent verbal and written skills. Spanish language skills would be beneficial.
