**Operations - Liquidity Management - Associate (Sao Paulo)**

The Sao Paulo Liquidity Management Operations team is responsible for multi-entity and multi-currency cash projections for the entities trading in Latam. The team also performs Payment functions (managing intraday payments and receipts) as well as taking care of the Fixed Income business support from trade allocations to settlements.

We're looking to hire one person on the back of the business expansion in Latam. The person will help with the day-to-day activities and help to implement some efficiencies to reduce the manual touch and hence mitigate risk.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with the business teams to identify clients’ needs and alternatives of executing trades according to the local market regulation
- Resolve issues/disputes with counterparts
- Client & regulators/clearing houses interaction
- Devise and implement process improvements
- Partner with IT and Sales/Trading on systems enhancements and development
- Help with the resolution of exceptional technical & production issues
- Investigate process failures; synthesize and implement corrective actions
- Collect and analyze data to guide decision-making and to drive improvement

- Contributes to the effectiveness of the team by working closely with colleagues by sharing information, skills, and responsibilities
- Takes actions to ensure that controls are in place & procedures are followed
- Skilled at gathering and analyzing quantitative data to guide decision-making
- Has personal impact to negotiate effectively with other internal groups, including the Business

**Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years relevant work experience in the Brazil financial market

**Desired**:

- MS Office package knowledge - VBA would as a plus
- Fixed Income and Central Bank Payment System knowledge
- Local Tax Knowledge is also a plus
