Application Project Consultant - PP

Reporting to IT Project Manager, Application Project Consultant delivers new standard business solutions and concentrate on business process re-engineering and technology enablement as well as build relationship with internal customers beyond project’s lifecycle.

The Analyst Developer defines designs, builds, deploys and maintains relevant & valuable information systems to support business stakes.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Project Delivery
- Actively participate with the team in planning and setting user story deliverables;
- Design and develop new IT solutions in collaboration with the team;
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient project delivery and solution design;
- Clarify project requirements to satisfy customers’ needs and expectations;
- Deliver project on time and on budget;
- Ensure proper hand over of project delivery to other teams (when applicable).

Process Improvement
- Identify and prioritize IT process improvements;
- Participate actively in Process Feedback and Process Improvement during Scrum, Gemba, Sprint Retro meetings, etc. ;
- Support new process implementation and sustainability.

Skills Development
- Develop new soft and technical skills to reinforce the ability to design various IT solutions, enlarge his/her expertise and teamwork abilities in an scrum development approach;
- Share his/her expertise to enhance the skills of other members.

EXTERNAL CANDIDATE RPOFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System or any related discipline or equivalent qualification
- SAP Certification in SAP Production Planning (PP) module would be an asset
- Knowledge in cross module SAP and experience in IT Trouble Shooting
- Experience in working in an Agile / Lean environment and Manufacturing & Distribution environment in a global company will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate in French / Sinhalese will be an asset according to the location
