**Job Role Summary**:
Responsible for design, implementation and support of foundational layer (platform) components of a large and complex SAP landscape,
following established standards and guidelines. Member of a global team.

**Job Role Responsibilities**:
This role includes, but is not limited to the following:

- Follow The Sun (FTS) incident management support for all SAP systems
- Maintaining system integrity/availability and controls for SAP instances within ExxonMobil
- Provide system stakeholder reports and metrics with key performance indicators
- Coordinate technical execution of large cross-functional activities that require synchronicity and alignment
- Working with other EMIT support teams to restore service to SAP systems resulting from unplanned outages by providing Incident Management support
- Analyze the technical requirements
- Produce / update the required Basis standards documentation
- Build and test Proof of Concept systems
- Perform System Administration activities
- Implement system / alert monitoring and proactive health checks
- Provide regular system maintenance services (maintain RFC, SAP Profiles, File system cleanup, login groups/load balancing, etc.)
- Provide Problem Management for issues owned by the platform administration
- Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements
- Support Infrastructure change implementations (e.g. DB, OS, HW upgrades)
- Perform capacity Monitoring (CPU, Disk, Spool, Memory, etc.)
- Analyze and resolve performance issues in the system(s)
- Execute DR and Cyber Recovery tests
- Respond to Early Watch reporting
- Manage housekeeping Jobs
- Provide rotational on-call support during off-hours
- Build and configure SAP systems according to standard practices, designs and guidelines.

**Expected Level of Proficiency**:
NW ABAP (ECC, S/4 HANA),NW JAVA, HANA, scripting skills (Powershell, Shell script), OS (Unix, Windows), Cloud (Azure, AWS) minimum of experience 5 years
