Position Overview
Manage engineering projects based on the strategic plan (annual budget) designing the project in terms of cost, implementation time and necessary resources. Supervise the execution of projects regarding compliance with safety standards, good engineering practices for design and assembly. Define, together with the center of excellence, the mechanical integrity and process safety plan and execute it, coordinating with the maintenance and production team. Ensure the execution of the projects under responsibility within the planned cost, time and quality. It must ensure compliance with all rules, internal and external procedures, obeying HEXION's general and human resources policies.
Job Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance by contracted third parties with legal regulations in terms of Human Resources (vacation, working hours, overtime, leave, etc.)

Ensure the participation of employees in your sector in mandatory safety training.

Ensure the entry and maintenance of mandatory documentation in the document management system

Lead Lean 6Sigma projects (Green Belt, RapidLean, Quick Project) Participate and support activation of Lean 6Sigma projects in the company.

Ensure the reporting and investigation of EHS incidents during project execution

Support the implementation of GMS protocols

Manage the objectives of the ROC program in your sector (opening and closing)

Ensure the holding of Daily Safety Dialogues (DSD)

Ensure compliance with 5S practices in the sector.

Ensure that a Safe Work Permit is carried out (in addition to a special work permit for high-risk activities) in all activities where this is necessary.

Guide production supervisors on the correct use of equipment, instruments and systems, minimizing the risk of damage to the equipment.

Manage production stop demands for project execution in order to optimize machine downtime and quality of service performed.

Ensure production support in carrying out non-routine activities

Assist in the preparation of the CAPEX budget, manage projects under his responsibility in relation to quality, time and costs to meet the defined values.

Perform engineering regulatory activities in terms of PSM and IM.

Ensure that the Change Management methodology is followed in all maintenance and projects that require it.

Support maintenance and production in the technical evaluation of process changes.

Actively participate in risk analysis events (HAZOP, PHA).

Ensure proper maintenance of process safety documentation (PSI).

Minimum Qualifications

**Mandatory**:

- Degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering.
- 3 years of project management experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry or 7 years of project management experience in other industries

**Desirable**:

- Specialization in maintenance management or project management.
- 5 years of project management experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry or 10 years of project management experience in other industries
- Programming in DeltaV, project management, Lean 6Sigma, SAP

Other
If currently an employee of the Company, you must have current satisfactory work performance and in most cases, have been in your current role for 18 months.
