**Purpose**:

- Ensure that Company operations within your assigned scope are performed in line with the Company Quality Policy, Management System and applicable Industry Standards.
- Foster a Quality culture based on continuously improving ways-of-working, maximizing effectiveness, efficiency and business sustainability as a result.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acquire and maintain a robust knowledge of the Company’s Management System and ways-of-working.
- Provide support to the Operations Management teams in understanding internal requirements applicable to their scope and in taking appropriate actions to sustainably meet those.
- Plan and conduct internal assurance activities to identify management system implementation and business performance gaps.
- Systematically investigate findings, performing root-cause analysis and identifying required corrective actions.
- Perform or support investigations of incidents from a quality perspective.
- Ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and identify appropriate mitigations.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and initiate corresponding changes.
- Plan and facilitate external assurance activities (including but not limited to certification audits) and represent the Company during their execution.
- Ensure continuing certification of Company operations against the ISO 9001 Standard and the ISM Code (and related compliance with the ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards) where/as applicable.
- Establish and maintain an effective interface with relevant Certification Bodies.
- Maintain registers and records up-to-date.
- Act as ‘Ambassador’ of the Quality and Excellence functions, and as ‘Champion’ of the Company’s Management System (GEMS).
- Manage a team of Quality Professionals to support you in achieving the above.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with all Stakeholders to ensure effective results.
- Act also as Regulatory Manager if so assigned.
