**Responsibilities**:

- Reporting into the Head of Product Delivery - you will Provide thought leadership and people management for the Business Assurance Testing (BAT) practice to ensure all project changes by Bupa Australia satisfy predefined acceptance criteria and comply with defined business processes. How will I help?
- Build and manage a high functioning department based on a fully utilised resource pool servicing project demand.
- Support and coach careers of the BAT team, setting objectives and development plans with team members.
- Implement best practice to optimise delivery cycle time while ensuring business processes are not compromised.
- Own the metrics for product and project success, support and implement continuous improvement.
- Establish a Business Assurance Testing framework and methodology which creates a pathway for the greatest value testing approach. Higher degree of coverage, faster release and fewer failures.
- Develop and implement strategies to shift testing left to undercover early defects or missed requirements and reduce defects in later phases of delivery.
- Pro-actively work with delivery hubs and team leads to forecast resource demands and cost effectively manage team resourcing to service the demand.

- Experience and demonstrated success in leading, coaching and motivating a team of professionals.
- Relevant IT industry experience across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Experience of working with multiple projects or programmes.
- Extensive knowledge of test techniques and strategies - functional and non-functional.
- Experience in working with best practice testing tools.
- Ability to work to a high level of credibility with senior IT, Business managers and project managers.
- Capable of managing a team budget.
