**En postulant à cette offre, vous aurez l'opportunité de rejoindre une entreprise prometteuse avec une forte diversité de projets. **La startup fondée en mai 2021 a pour but de lutter contre le réchauffement climatique en restaurant les écosystèmes forestiers à grande échelle.

L'entreprise a développé, avec des partenaires scientifiques de renom (INRAe, l’IRD, CIRAD..), une méthode de reboisement efficace par drones, compétitive et véritablement écologique. Au-delà de cette restauration, la start-up propose un suivi forestier et carbone complet des projets réalisés à partir de son logiciel d’analyse propre. Toutes les opérations se déroulent en symbiose avec les populations locales : approvisionnement de semences locales par réseaux de collecteurs, co-bénéfices socio-économiques et régénération de la biodiversité.

**Key Responsibilities**: As our Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial strategy and operations. You will be responsible for overseeing our finances across multiple international locations (France and Brazil) and ensuring that our financial systems are aligned with our long-term vision and our current projects around the globe.We’re not just looking for a very good technician, but someone who can make sense of our finances.
**Financial Reports, Analysis & Strategy, System Setup**:

- Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Forecast et monitor the achievement of the Business Plan.
- Define and track key metrics.
- Seek additional (non-dilutive) financing.
- Invoicing & Financial account management of major corporate contracts Manage and optimize cross-border cash flow, currency exchange, and risk mitigation strategies

**Team & Partners Management**:

- Recruit and manage the Finance team with a co-founder.
- Manage accounting, taxation and social partners (in France & Brazil).

**Investors’ Relationship**:

- Maintain a high-level relationship with investors by anticipating their requests.
- Act as the interface between the investment funds and the executives.
- Conduct fundraising Due Diligence.
- Generate reports.

This position requires significant ‘building’ capabilities and not just ‘execution.’ You must ensure that you are willing to roll up your sleeves.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Mandatory**: +10 years of experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within an international company, with presence in Brazil.
- ** Mandatory**: Proven track record of participating in fundraising efforts, securing over €10M from international Tier-1 venture capital funds.
- Background in managing finances for organizations involved in science and research-driven projects.
- Expertise in overseeing long-term commercial projects, between 4 to 10 years & over 500’000$

**Mandatory**:
**Fluent in French, English, and Portuguese.**
